This course focuses on teamwork, communication, and control tactics to minimize risks to officers and suspects. Participants will learn takedowns, restraining maneuvers, and de-escalation strategies: hands-on drills and scenario-based exercises to enhance individual and team proficiency. The class focuses on having multiple officers gain compliance using safety take-downs, armbars, leglock controls, and wrist lock techniques.
This course will teach specific, easy-to-learn methods for two or more officers to control fully assaultive suspects safely.
